Faculty advisors are current ACC faculty members in Workforce Education programs who are subject matter experts in their specific career fields. They bring in-depth career knowledge and expertise to help you explore academic pathways to achieving your career goals. They offer personalized one-on-one guidance to help you make the best decisions for your academic and career goals!

Faculty Advisors work with future students and current students. Our services include, helping students start strong academically and invite them into a culture of belonging and connection at ACC and in the Workforce Education Department(s). We partner with students to meet basic needs, including child care, food, and housing. Our services are tailored to each individual student, providing a personalized experience to maximize success!
Appointment requests will be processed in the order they are received. Students will receive direct email communication from one of the Faculty Advisors within 3 business days. Please check your email regularly.
Faculty Advising Vision Statement
The faculty advising program seeks to strengthen student connection to a field or Area of Study by offering faculty advising, learning communities, and department-specific programming to help students understand how their major path translates into their future work and career aspirations.
