I am an Adjunct Professor, and Science, Engineering, Math Faculty Advisor in the Math Department at Austin Community College. My main goal is to help students not only learn and succeed in Math and Stats, but also enjoy the learning process and overcome challenges students face.
As a math professor, my primary goal is to foster a deep understanding and love for mathematics and statistics among my students. I firmly believe that math is not just a subject to be studied, but a language to be embraced and a way of thinking that opens doors to countless possibilities. In my classroom, I strive to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, challenge themselves, and develop their problem-solving skills.
Beyond the classroom, I am honored to serve as a SEM faculty advisor to students pursuing their degree in science, engineering, or math. I recognize the unique challenges and opportunities that arise during their academic career at ACC, and I am dedicated to supporting my students every step of the way. Whether it's providing guidance on course selection, offering advice on majors, or simply being a listening ear, I am committed to helping students navigate their educational paths with confidence and success.
