Believe it or not, small businesses, mid-sized companies, and even corporations still need skilled employees that can help maintain accounting records on a day-to-day basis by completing common tasks like managing the general ledger, payroll, or completing bank reconciliations. These tasks do not require CPA licensure. Even accounting firms offer many types of services and will hire workers as entry-level bookkeepers.

ACC's Applied Accounting Programs provide students the opportunity to learn the skills necessary to be a full-charge bookkeeper. We offer stackable credentials with three levels of certificates and the option to earn an Associate of Applied Science degree.

If you have completed the pre-apprenticeship coursework and think you are ready to apply for an apprenticeship, please make sure you contact Career Services here to brush up on your resume skills. There you can make an appointment to meet with one of the members of the Career Services Team to help you create and refine your resume. Then you are ready to apply for the Apprenticeship, just like you would any other job.
This is a new program and we will be adding new opportunities, as well as new tools to help you gain the skills you need to succeed.
