This required process allows students to evaluate you as an instructor and the curriculum of the course. The evaluation process is now entirely digital and conducted through your course's Blackboard page.
For more information on this process, visit the college's Faculty Evaluation web page. Though evaluations are anonymous, it's important to get as high a completion rate as possible. It's a good idea to take time out of class to ask your students to complete their evaluations.
After the semester is over, you will be sent the student evaluations from your courses to review as well as a form to provide your response to the feedback you received and any changes you may plan to make as a result. Timely completion and submission of this form is required and an important part of your overall annual evaluation.
Feedback forms should be sent to the department Administrative Assistant at (INSERT CONTACT INFO)
"Information made available through the faculty evaluation process will be used by Department Chairs when making eligibility list placements. Exclusion from an eligibility list may occur due to low aggregate score, unacceptable results in the professional evaluation rating, a serious problem or reported incident, a violation of federal or state law or a significant classroom performance problem identified by the Department Chair."
