Students will join us for a feature documentary on the life of social scientist Robert Putnam. The film focuses on his work regarding the loss of American community life over the last half-century. Students learn WHY they should get involved in their community, then have the opportunity to engage with professional organizations in various health fields. The project is a collaboration among the ACC Service-Learning and Volunteer Programs through the Office of Experiential Learning, the Office of Belonging & Purpose, the Truth, Community Healing & Transformation Center (TCHT), ACC Library Services, Psychology and Government Department Faculty, and many more!
