Engr. BUDUWARA, Aga Zakariya is a dedicated Civil Engineer with strong academic and professional grounding in geotechnical, geoenvironmental engineering and highway engineering. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Modibbo Adama University, Yola, and proceeded to obtain a Master’s degree from the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering. His research focused on the evaluation of varying voltage in electrokinetic improvement of crude-oil-contaminated soil for slope stability purposes, reflecting his commitment to sustainable and innovative soil remediation techniques.
A registered Engineer (R69710) with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and an active member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Engr. Buduwara has accumulated over 7 years of experience in highway engineering. He served with CGC Nigeria Ltd for 4 years on major road construction and rehabilitation projects nationwide and spent another 4
years with Woodhill Engineering Nigeria Ltd, contributing significantly to the Abuja–Kano Road (AKR) Section II rehabilitation works.
He remains committed to advancing his analytical and technical expertise while delivering
efficient, reliable, and technology-driven solutions to complex engineering challenges.
