Mission Statement:
My mission is to help students develop their intellect, talents, and character. Each student brings with him/her unique talents and gifts. My goal is to help students nurture their skills and passions while fostering personal responsibility and service to their community.
Merci, Madame V. Lafarge!
Sometimes we don’t know all that there is to learn….until someone special comes along and piques our interest with their knowledge and passion. I owe my love for anything and everything French to my 6th-grade middle school teacher, Madame V. Lafarge. She had this unique gift and glow about her as if she herself owned France. Much of her lessons revolved around extensive talks about French food, monuments, holidays, rivers, and museums. We lived and breathed French--over baguettes and café au lait with our endearing teacher, Madame Lafarge. To this day, I crave all things French--cuisine, artisans, architecture, travels. Though my reading and writing are stronger than my speaking ability, I enjoy practicing my French, albeit elementary and butchered, whenever I have the opportunity to visit a French-speaking country and city. Merci, Madame V. Lafarge!
