In grade 7, instructional time focuses on four Domains: (1) The Real Complex Number System: apply and extend previous understandings of operations with fractions and rational numbers; (2) Geometry: solve real-real and mathematical problems involving areas, surface area, and volume will describing the relationship between them; (3) Operations and Algebraic Thinking: solve real-life and mathematical problems using numerical and algebraic expressions and equations; (4) Statistics and Probability: analyze proportional relationships and use them to solve real-world and mathematical problems. Each domain provides students with the necessary knowledge to advance in their mathematics education.
