Grades 7 and 8 only. Introduction to Culinary Arts a is one semestral course in the middle school. In this course at its level, through basic theory, practical and hands on learning, the students will be provided with the basic skills and knowledge on the expected learning competencies to prepare them for more challenging, practical, hands-on learning and meaningful possible experiences with it in the next intermediate level of Culinary Arts Course.
Each learning competency will be taught and discussed to the students following its respective Time on Task - Session Guide wherein, every students’ performance will be assessed and evaluated using criteria and rubrics.
Each learners’ activity based on the learning competency will be well- supervised and monitored by, in which, everyone’s safety and welfare are its top priority.
At the end of this course at its level, students are expected to be able to fully learn its basics and to appreciate Culinary Atrs concepts and applications in its simplest and safest ways.
