Thank you for volunteering your time at Quest!

Quest strives for each family to participate in 20 hours of volunteer time in order to support our school and students. We know that we can’t accomplish all the great things that Quest has to offer without your help. The following pages contain all the information you need to get plugged in.

You’ve completed your volunteer work! Quest can not thank you enough for your valuable gift of time and resources. Now don’t forget to get credit for your hours by clicking on the link below and entering your information in the online form.

Volunteer ID Badge

If you plan on volunteering on a regular basis, you may want to request a volunteer ID badge. You will still need to check in and out of the office, but you will have your own designated badge that you keep with you.

HOW TO OBTAIN A VOLUNTEER ID BADGE

Step 1:

Come in to the main office at Quest and complete the Volunteer Approval Request form. We'll get it signed by the Principal and sent to the security department.

Please note that this step is to be completed in the office at Quest before proceeding to Step 2. The Security department will need to receive this form from Quest office staff before the volunteer process can begin, and this form cannot be hand delivered by the volunteer.

Step 2:

After turning in the first form to Quest, you will need to complete the Aurora Public Schools Volunteer Application. Bring this completed form to the APS Security office located at 15701 E 1st Ave, Suite 109 (in Aurora). Please wait at least one day after completing Step 1 before you head to the Security office with your volunteer application.

Please bring a current government issued photo ID. Note: if you have lived in Colorado for less than one year, there will be a special background check that costs $15. Volunteers will be responsible for paying this amount to the APS Security Office. It can take up to 48 hours for a background check to be completed.

Once available, your badge will be available in the main office at Quest.

Volunteer badges are valid for one school year only. You will need to complete and submit the volunteer application each year, after August 1.
