An Individual Career and Academic Plan is a plan that guides students and families through career exploration, academic and postsecondary options and opportunities as they plan for their future.

"As a parent I keep hearing about my student's Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP) and about Naviance. Is it the same thing? If not, what's the difference?"

In APS, students start their ICAPs in as early as 4th grade and continue to develop them throughout the year as they set goals for themselves and learn more about how their passions influence their plans.
