Mrs. Eyre is our school nurse and her primary responsibility is to support students’ health needs so they can stay in class. We are fortunate here at North to have a relatively healthy student population, which gives us the luxury of focusing on wellness and wellbeing.

That being said, there are occasions when a student needs to visit the nurse. Below are the primary reasons a student should leave class to go to the nurse:

  • Bleeding (beyond a Band-Aid fix)
  • Burning up (fever)
  • Broken bones
  • Vomiting
  • Breathing problems
  • Blood sugar issues
  • Bump on the head
