Dear Parents,

Our last parent day will be Tuesday, May 23^rd during the last hour of class. We will be celebrating the completion of the year. We will be eating light snacks, viewing a slideshow, and taking pictures. If you signed up for bringing snacks, thank you. If you still would like to bring something, please come see me. If you and your student will not be here on the last day of school, please let me know so I can send home a small gift before Tuesday. I hope to see everyone there.

Dear Parents,

If your student is going to Kindergarten, please check your email for the Parent-Teacher Conference sign up. It was labeled "P4 ILP Sign-up." If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

If your student is attending preschool next year, please check your email for the next steps in enrolling for next year. There are no more paper enrollment packets and it will be done online. If you have questions, I will try to help or contact the office.

Thank you for the water bottles that have been brought in. It is much appreciated. I hope to start our planting project next week.

The last day of Preschool is Tuesday, May 23rd. We will have a celebration during the last hour of class. We will have some light snacks and treats. Please stay tuned for details.

3.17.2017 - Parent Day

Parent Day is Friday, March 24th. We will be going through our Ocean Experience with our students and conducting a science experiment. We hope to see you there!

3.1.2017 - Announcements

We are now learning about the Ocean and the animals that live there. I have posted some new songs and videos that are connected to our theme. They are under the "Songs and Videos" tab.

2.8.2017 - Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent Teacher Conferences are Wednesday, February 15th and Wednesday, February 22nd. The front office has sent emails out to sign up through Sign-up Genius. If you are having difficulties signing up, I will have a few iPads available at pick-up and drop-off to use to sign up.

2.1.2017 - Announcements

We will be learning about the zoo for the next three weeks. There is a free zoo day at the Denver Zoo tomorrow! If families are looking for something to do, it would be a great way to introduce the theme we will be learning about.

There is no school Monday, February 20th due to President's Day.

There will be an email going out sometime next week for Parent Teacher Conferences. Parent Teacher Conferences will be held February 15th and 22nd. If you are unable to sign up through the computer, I will be passing around a few iPads so you can sign up.

1.19.2017 - Parent Day

We have been learning about the Farm for the past 3 weeks in our classroom. To continue this learning, we have a Parent Day focused on the Farm. There will be 2 activities for this Parent Day. Parent Day is Friday, January 27th.

Activity 1 - Students will focus on beginning sounds and rhyme during an activity in which they guess the farm animal.

Activity 2 - Students will make their favorite farm animal out of Model Magic and complete a fact sheet about that animal.

We had a visitor in our classroom last night. We wanted students to think about how the chicken could have made it into our classroom and what could we do about the chicken if it came into our classroom again.
