Reimagine Library Grant
The Learning Resources Department, in collaboration with the Maintenance & Operations Department, is ready to help your school community to reimagine its library in order to support student literacy, achievement, and the development of essential skills - especially life-long learning! We can help you do this by modernizing, beautifying, and updating your space and collection to meet the needs of all of your students. We look forward to partnering with you!
There is a sense of urgency because only about 1 out of 4 APS students in grades 3-8 is achieving at grade level in reading and writing. Teachers, leaders, families, and students have been working hard to turn this around and we believe the library can play an important role in supporting all of our students, and especially those who are under-performing, to find success at developing positive life-long learning habits as readers and writers!
