Employee absences: For positions identified as not needing a sub, these will now be handled through Oracle Cloud and will no longer go through AESOP/Frontline. Click here for help sheets on how to enter your absence. For positons that are identified as needing a substitute , those will continue to go through AESOP and will get an error when an absence is entered into Oracle Cloud
HR Help Desk
A new feature in Oracle Cloud is the HR Help Desk. This is similar to other support ticketing systems that allows you to enter a ticket to HR and Payroll to answer questions and get additional support for Oracle Cloud or other HR and Payroll related issues. Specifically the following can go through this new support system
Role or access in Oracle Cloud: If you are Please note: Additional access beyond what is given based on your position will require that the supervisor request and approve access.
Time Keeper Role: Supervisors can request that someone have the timekeeper role to help support in approving timecards. Please note: The supervisor will still get emails but will not see the timecards in their bell notifications, If needed, they can go to My Staff Tasks in the Worklist to see the timecards pending approval. Access will also continue to be available to Team Timecards to make timecard adjustments but will not be available to the timekeeper. This timekeeper role does not also grant access to manage absences.
If a position needs to be created. If you find that a position does not exist at your site you may request that one be created for you. Please Note: If it is a brand new position it will continue to go through the full development and salary review process.
