New P-8 at The Aurora Highlands
PSA: The Aurora Public Schools Board of Education voted unanimously to approve the new P-8 school in The Aurora Highlands Scenario 4 boundary recommendation at their Dec. 13 Business Meeting.
In collaboration with the impacted schools leaders, the Division of Support Services, Division of Equity and Learning and the Division of Human Resources is working together to implement a master-transition plan for the impacted students, families and staff. The transition plan will be implemented over the coming weeks and months.

School Boundary Attendance Area for the New P-8 School in The Aurora Highlands
As part of the process for establishing attendance area boundaries for the new P-8 school located in the The Aurora Highlands development, APS formed an internal school boundary change committee. This committee assessed the attendance areas and enrollment capacities for nearby schools, and is recommending school boundary changes that may impact enrollment at the following elementary, middle and P-8 schools beginning the 2023-24 school year:
Arkansas Elementary School
Aurora Frontier P-8
Harmony Ridge P-8
Mrachek Middle School
Murphy Creek P-8
