Kim Kaspar MSW

Kim received her master’s degree in social work from the University of Denver. Kim has served the community of Aurora as a school social worker, PBIS district level coach, & MTSS Community Partner for the last 10 years. She has a passion for promoting social, emotional and behavioral health of students. In addition to her expertise as a mental health worker, Kim has been an integral piece of PBIS implementation district wide in Aurora Public Schools. Kim enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

Bridget Jackson

Bridget has worked as a School Social Worker in Aurora Public Schools for the last 9 years and was a school based therapist in Adams County prior to that. She graduated from Colorado State University with an undergraduate degree in Social Work and then from the University of Washington with a Master’s in Social Work. In 2004 she obtained her license and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. While with Aurora Public Schools she has worked in many schools around the district as well as on the Behavior Evaluation and Support Team.

Erin Fawkes

Erin was a teacher for 15 years teaching pre-school through 6th graders in both public and private schools. She gained teaching experience in Missouri, Hawaii, Singapore, and Colorado in both general education and special education. Erin has been with Aurora Public Schools for nine years as a general education teacher, math coach, and for the last four years as a school psychologist. Erin has a deep passion for working to support the social, emotional, and behavioral development of students and consulting with other youth-serving adults.

Nicole Iselin

A Colorado Native, Nicole spent her first 6 years in education as a middle school mathematics teacher in the St. Vrain Valley School District. Upon deciding a different life path while still remaining within the educational system, she decided to become a School Psychologist and eventually graduated from the University of Colorado Denver program with an Educational Specialist degree as well as a Traumatic Brain Injury Specialization Certificate. Following graduation, Nicole practiced as a School Psychologist in Jefferson County for 4 years before joining Aurora Public Schools as a Prevention Specialist. This year, she has begun a full-time role with AWARE, and will be coaching and supporting Communites L and A. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, listening to and playing music, and cooking and eating.

Rick Pape

Rick has worked as a school counselor for 12 years and received his undergraduate degree in Sociology and a master’s degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology. He has experience in k-12 and extensive experience with school advisory programs. Rick was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. When not promoting and supporting Social Emotional Learning as a Project AWARE Coach, he can be found climbing rocks and practicing mindfulness with Tenkara, the Japanese version of fly fishing. In addition, he has a passion for advocating for all students and helping students acknowledge and develop their inner strengths.
