Harmon Orchestra

6th, 7th and 8th Grade Orchestra students have a unit on playing in small groups where the students learn leadership skills by demonstrating how to communicate non-verbally to start and end songs without a conductor. Each small group then performed a song for the rest of the class as part of a competition for prizes.

These are the winning groups for the 6th, 7th and 8th grade orchestras.

Kindergarten music learning is about exploring our voices, sounds of instruments, discovering steady beats on instruments, and moving our bodies in different patterns utilizing student leaders.

Empathy and resilience learning designs are embodied so our young learners can become innovative with their collaboration in music class!
