STAFF MEMBER OF THE MONTH
Mr. Pixler’s Algebra 1 students explore exponential growth and fractals by creating Sierpinski Triangles. This hands-on project is helping students visualize and understand the mathematical concepts of fractals and geometric patterns.
Four talented students will travel to Eureka with Mr. Poldervaart this weekend to compete at the College of the Redwoods. They will showcase their welding skills and compete against other students in a challenging competition. This incredible opportunity allows them to explore the college's CTE program, network with industry professionals, and collaborate with peers who share their passion for welding. Good luck, Eagles!
Mr. Weston's Honors History class, starting through Shasta College on March 3rd, is uniquely preparing for the course. Instead of assigning two months of busy work, he has designed a Hunger Games-style competition to help students gain prior knowledge of the content before the official readings and discussions begin.
Students are given an objective to complete within their groups each week, with two rotating group leaders. They must create a project based on the task at hand. If a team finishes last, their leaders lose the privilege of earning extra classwork rewards until their team wins again. It's an engaging and motivating way to get ready for the course!

EagleMadeCo, our ag business company, recently invested in an exciting new machine! We’re starting small by offering custom sticker orders, and we’d love your support.
We’re charging 5 cents per square inch for each sticker. For example, a 3x3 sticker would cost .45 cents. To the left is a photo of stickers we created last Friday.
If you’d like to order stickers, email Mrs. Gibson with your design, desired size, and quantity, and they’ll get started! They look forward to creating something special for you!

Wrestling may be a short season, but it’s a demanding and rewarding time for our athletes. Our wrestlers have been giving their all on the mats, competing fiercely against opponents from all grade levels.

1st Place: Ethan Phillips
2nd Place: Atreyu Dulen
3rd Place: Frankie Rodriguez
3rd Place (Consolation Bracket): Ronaele Rodriguez
4th Place: Garrett Chain
5th Place: Aaron Anliker
This weekend, our wrestlers are heading to Gilroy for the Mid-Cal Tournament.

Our cheerleaders thoroughly enjoy the basketball season and demonstrate remarkable progress with each performance. They continue to push themselves with more challenging stunts and excel in their execution!
Our Boys' basketball program has had a solid season. The Varsity team is currently tied for first place in the league with a 4-0 record and has won six of its last seven games.
The Freshman team remains undefeated in the league, and the JV team is performing well, with just one league loss so far. These results reflect our student-athletes and coaches' effort and commitment as they continue to grow and compete.
Our Varsity Girls' soccer team is young and talented, with many freshmen and sophomores who will help build the program for years to come. This season has been full of growth and learning, with both challenges and successes along the way. Right now, we are in second place in the league and are working hard to make a strong push for the league title.
Our Frosh Girls Basketball team is making waves this season with an impressive 13-2 record! Their hard work, teamwork, and dedication pay off on the court. Let's keep cheering them on as they continue to dominate!
The JV Girls' Basketball team is also having an outstanding season, showing resilience and skill in every game. While their only losses have been to higher-division teams like Pleasant Valley, Enterprise, and Foothill, they demonstrated their competitive spirit by defeating Enterprise just two days after their initial matchup.
The team has also excelled in tournament play, bringing home trophies for first, second, and third places across three tournaments. With many victories coming by margins of 20 points or more, all players are getting significant playing time to support their development and growth on the court.
This team's success highlights their hard work and dedication to the game.
