DISNEY LEADERSHIP TRIP:
Mrs. Wonder and Mrs. Weber took 17 leadership students to Disneyland as a reward trip for all of the hard work they've poured in the last few years. Students fundraised to make it happen and it was well worth the effort. Many of the seniors are second year leadership students and a group of them even helped at events their Sophomore year before joining Leadership class. This trip was a fun way to reward their commitment and contributions to our school.

Cub Connection has had a couple of busy weeks! On Wednesday, May 14, 2025 we hosted our annual “Red Carpet” event. We recognize students for outstanding attendance, special staff awards, community service and involvement. We also take this opportunity to recognize the daytime staff who stay late and contribute to our students with tutoring, credit recovery, weight training, robotics and more. FFA cooked us a wonderful dinner and we had about 95 in attendance. We are looking forward to this special evening continuing to grow in the future.

Students participated in the event during their English class and both Mr. Baker and the presenters were all very impressed with the level of attention, participation, and respect that our students displayed. With his first Cultural Day under his belt, Mr. Baker plans on not only continuing next year but providing event at WVHS and incorporating a few more elements.
