I have two classes in third block. Which one do I go to first?
Look at the course number. If the course number ends with an odd number, you go to that class first. In the example below, DEENG111-1 ends with an odd number so you would go to DE College Composition first and halfway through third block you will be dismissed for AP Government because its course number ends with an even number. The first half of third block is referred to as 3A and the second half is referred to 3B.
Can I make a schedule change?
Scheduling this school year is very challenging. While you can request a schedule change, not all schedule changes will be possible. If there is a clear error on your schedule or if it says Needs Class, your school counselor will work with you to correct your schedule.
Students may request a schedule change through the first ten days of the school year. Understand that letters regarding course requests were mailed home in May. Students have had more time to make changes to their schedule than ever before. If you would like to request a schedule change, you must fill out the Schedule Change Google Form https://bit.ly/3gQ9z10 . Type this address into your web browser to access the form. Do not come to the Counseling Office to request a change. Depending on your request, your school counselor may need to contact your parent/guardian for permission. Schedule changes will take more time than in previous years. You will remain with your current schedule until told otherwise.

My fifth block is empty. What does that mean?
This is completely normal. Fifth block refers to an after school class. Most students do not have an after school class so their schedule should look like the picture above. If you have an after school class, email your school counselor for instructions on what you need to do. There will be no after school classes the first week of school.

What is HR?
HR at the bottom of your schedule refers to your homeroom. We will not use homeroom until later in the school year. You will not go to your homeroom at all this time of year.
When is my lunch?
The lunch schedule will be different this semester. Your third block teacher will give you further instructions regarding when you will have lunch.
