Basics to ASICs: The Open Source Way
The workshop consists of a few invited talks by industry and research leaders followed by hands-on tutorials where participants will be allowed to experiment with the open source EDA tools and Sky130 PDK to familiarize themselves with the process of designing ICs to be fabricated through the free OpenMPW shuttle. Hands-on sessions will be provided to demonstrate the usage of existing open source EDA tools.
Who can attend?
We encourage all of you to join us in this event. If you are:
a Researcher in the VLSI field, a graduate student and graduate degree holder.
a Students or an engineer with VLSI background who wish to learn the practical aspects of designing and fabricating ICs.
a Hobbyist who think that Arduino is not enough for you to tinker with.
