Atoka High School choir put on their very own musical interpretation of The Sister Act JR on April 24th and 25th in the cafeteria. Both nights, the cafeteria was completely packed full of people there to support the AHS choir, and by the rounds of applause throughout the show, anyone can tell that it was an enjoyable experience for everyone who attended. It was a mixture of beauty, emotion, comedy and music. A few members performed solos, which filled the room with gasps and tears and left the crowd speechless. Many of the participants describe the experience as an out-of-body experience, feeling like they were in their very own Broadway musical right here in Atoka, OK. The stage setting was changed so quickly and quietly throughout every scene, even considering they had to move tables, chairs, and even a giant piano in a matter of seconds. The actors are sad that the experience is over with but happy they got to experience it. They sure put on a show!
