Atoka hosted their annual Wampus Cat Classic this January 18th - 20th. The teams that participated were Idabel, Kingston, Pauls Valley, Madill, Eufuala, and Latta. The Lady Wampus Cats fell to the Idabel Lady Warriors in their first game of the tournament. The boys fell to Pauls Valley in a late-night battle on Thursday evening of the tournament. The second day the girls got their first win in the tournament with a win against Pauls Valley. The boys took a tough loss to Eufuala. The last day of the tournament the girls won the consolation championship in a battle against Latta.
