Diamonds and Denim

This year the high school held a Winter Social. It was much like a Winter Ball, but with more socializing, activities, and entertainment. With last year's winter event being black and gold, the theme this year was a Valentine's Day/Kindness theme with a dress code of "Diamonds and Denim". Students were encouraged to dress casual or formal as long as they are comfortable with their choice. Participating in social events such as this is a great way to see friends and have a good time. The winter social is important, because it involves all students, "the freshman and sophomores don't get to take part in participating in prom, and so whenever we have the winter event, everyone in this school is included" - Mrs. Carr. While originally planned for February the 3rd, because of bad weather, it was postponed to February the 11th.
