Christmas is approaching very soon, and what better way to celebrate the holiday than singing songs that give people the Christmas spirit? The Wampus Cat Chorus and MMS Singers are putting on a Christmas concert. The concert will be December 7th in the Atoka Public schools Cafeteria, beginning at 6:30. The MMS Singers will be performing first, and then the Wampus Cat Chorus will end the concert.
This year's concert is going to be a hit! They have had a great semester of singing and preforming together as a group. Whether they are at a contest or preforming for veterans at Atoka Walmart, they are eager to use their voices to bring joy to the people around them. Their choir director, Jenna Pebworth, is a new addition this year. She wants nothing more than to make these students great and help them become the best versions of themselves. Ruby Copeland, a current choir student, was asked a few questions about the upcoming concert. She stated, "I think our choir has worked very hard on our Christmas pieces, and we are very excited to share it with our family and friends." With this feedback, I think they will put on a good performance. So come out bring your friends and family, and enjoy the Atoka Wampus Cat Chorus Christmas Concert!
