DescriptionIn this course, individuals use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others. This course is designed for local students and international students. They will study the theory of business and undertake exercise and assessments, many of which will be in a simulated work environment.
Employment PathwayThe Certificate IV in Business is intended to prepare students or recognise and develop existing workers who are performing a range of roles in a business environment. This qualification is transferable across many industries, as it teaches transferable business skills. Employment outcomes targeted by this qualification include Administrator, Project Officer, Supervisor or Administrative Supervisor
Pathways from the qualificationFurther training pathways from this qualification may lead BSB50215 Diploma of Business, other Diploma level qualifications and possible entry into a higher education degree program.
Entry Requirements for International Students 1. All students must of the age of 18 years or over at the time of applying for admission 2. Entry in to this course requires IELTS band score of 5.5 or equivalent in line with Department of Home Affairs regulations 3. Satisfactory completion of studies in applicant’s home country equivalent to an Australian Year 11 qualification is required for entry into this course.4. Mature age students will also be considered without the minimum education requirements but with relevant work experience within chosen area of study and a demonstrated capacity to meet course requirements.
Any AQF qualification at the Certificate III level or above in any discipline area delivered and assessed in English only will be deemed as meeting both the academic and English language entry requirements.

Course Delivery Schedule and FeesThis course will be scheduled to be delivered over 52 weeks of full time study – 20 hours per week of scheduled class time each week. This takes into account Public holiday periods such as Christmas & Easter and School holiday breaks.
Learning Period: 40 Teaching Weeks + 12 Weeks Holiday (52 Weeks). Total Fees: AU$ 12,000.00 Please refer to our website for the updated class timetable and 2019 intakes.
External Student HoursThis course requires the student to undertake study, revision, reading, research, preparation and assessments (such as projects and reports) outside set classroom hours to enhance the learning process. The external study hours have been derived taking into consideration the unit requirements, along with the preparation and study required to complete the assessments related to each unit.
