AIC-NSTP: Clean Water Installation in San Andres Elementary School

The Ateneo Innovation Center (AIC), the Office of Social Concern and Involvement (OSCI), some students from the Ateneo de Manila University and the Local Government Unit (LGU) worked together to provide the community of San Andres with potable water through the installation of the Solar-Powered Clean Water System.

The System involves the collection of water which is then filtered by a solar power system that makes use of a battery. In the medium to the longer term, there are plans to make a mobile version of the system and to charge users to allow for long-term sustainability of the facility and service.
