Requesting a Mass Schedule
[Step-by-step Guide]
Before sending your request via email, kindly follow these steps:
CHECK THE SCHEDULE
Consult the School Mass Calendar to avoid schedule conflicts.
Kindly note that the Office of Campus Ministry gives priority to pre-scheduled School Masses. Other requests will only be considered if submitted at least two (2) weeks in advance.
CONFIRM AVAILABILITY OF VENUE
The St. Aloysius Gonzaga Chapel (G/F FLC Building) serves as the default venue for Mass requests. Confirm with our Administrative Staff the availability of the ASHS Chapel.
Should you prefer a different venue within ASHS, please process the reservation through the Central Facilities Management Office (CFMO). Note that hauling of materials to and from the venue will be your responsibility. Kindly coordinate with the assigned Campus Minister regarding the necessary Mass fixtures and materials.
Should you prefer a different venue outside ASHS (e.g. AGS, AJHS, or HE), you are to coordinate with the OCM counterparts of desired unit.
Please be advised that CFMO charges fees for venue reservations and any manpower services they provide.
LOOK FOR MASS PRESIDER & LITURGICAL MINISTERS
Please take note that inviting priest presiders and liturgical ministers (i.e. readers, Eucharistic Ministers) are your responsibility.
For non-Jesuit priests, the ASHS Chaplain requires a celebret--which serves as identification and permission for a priest to function within the Diocese of Cubao.
PRE-MASS / POST-MASS PROGAM
Please confirm whether there will be a program before or after the Mass, and include these details in your request and venue reservation. This will help ensure proper coordination and avoid scheduling conflicts.
Once all details are ready, you may now send your request to cmo.ashs@ateneo.edu, making sure to send carbon copies to Mr. Gian Dayao (OCM Coordinator) at gdayao@ateneo.edu, and to Fr. Noel Bava SJ (Chaplain) at nbava@ateneo.edu.
