The Ateneo Junior High School Facilities Management and Security Office (FMSO) is charged with the upkeep, maintenance and traffic, safety, and security of the entire AJHS campus. Adhering to the Ignatian values of magis and cura personalis in carrying out our duties, we aim to provide educational facilities that will effectively and efficiently support teaching and learning processes, ultimately improving the quality of Basic Education at AJHS.
In line with the University’s initiative to further align the various offices and streamline services, the JHS-FMSO holds regular meetings with relevant teams of the University.
The Office meets with the Basic Education Unit (Grade School and Senior High School) to discuss, collaborate, and share best practices, in order to improve efforts to deliver world-class facilities and services. It also convenes with the Security Team to discuss matters pertaining to traffic, safety, and security of each unit.
Here are our general tasks:
Overall in charge of day-to-day operations in facilities and security concerns
Cleanliness and orderliness of various facilities
Major and minor repairs and maintenance
Housekeeping and supervision of maintenance staff
Handling the use and supervision of maintenance staff
Logistical requirements for educational activities and events of students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, etc.
Major and minor improvements involving renovation and construction
