W. P. Carey Professionalism Policy
Students are expected to behave professionally and respectfully at all times through every communication, including emails, text messages, discussion board posts, and Zoom sessions. Please review the W. P. Carey Graduate Conduct and Professionalism Policy (https://gradstudents.wpcarey.asu.edu/student-resources/professionalism-policy) to ensure that your behavior reflects the W. P. Carey standard. Please note that students who violate the W. P. Carey Professionalism Policy may be subject to sanctions, including academic probation or even dismissal from the program.
Academic Integrity and Ethical Behavior
Unethical behavior by corporations has been linked with negative performance outcomes; the same is true of unethical student behavior. It is expected that students will neither participate in nor condone activities such as cheating or plagiarism. You are expected to do your own work on all individual exercises, quizzes, and exams. Students are encouraged to speak to other students about the issues, but do not share work or answers. Failure to follow this policy may result in zero points for both the receiver and provider (if involved). Also, the instructor may take any other action described in the current academic integrity policy. By placing their names on assignments, students are affirming that the contents are their original work. Consulting work done by students in this course in other platforms or in previous years is a violation of academic integrity. This policy will be vigorously enforced. Sharing work you do in this course with others, whether in the course with you or not, can tempt others to violate this academic integrity policy and can result in that student’s failure in the course and dismissal from his/her program.
A student who engages in academic misconduct as outlined in ASU’s academic integrity policy (http://provost.asu.edu/academicintegrity) while attending a graduate program will receive strict penalties.
Those penalties ordinarily will range from a letter reduction in final course grade to expulsion from the program and School of Business. The penalty will be decided by the course faculty member and the Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs. All allegations of academic misconduct must be reported to program administrators. Any subsequent act of academic misconduct, regardless of severity, will result in dismissal from the program and the School of Business.
You may not use any artificial intelligence tools to assist you in preparing, presenting, creating, writing, coding (etc.) any item which is assigned as part of a class unless specifically instructed to do so as part of the assignment.
Threatening Behavior Policy
The university takes threatening behavior very seriously and these situations will be handled in accordance with the Student Services Manual, SSM 104-02 https://public.powerdms.com/ASU/documents/1560490.

Religious Accommodations
Accommodations will be made for students with religious holidays. Below is the calendar of official religious holidays. Each holiday noted with two asterisks denotes an observance for which work is not allowed. For these holidays, students will not be penalized in any way for missing class or assignment. This means that this will not count as an absence in class and they will be granted a makeup assignment or exam, etc.

All requests for accommodation must be submitted by the end of the first week of class.

This course may contain material that may be deemed offensive by some students. If you encounter material that makes you uncomfortable, please email your instructor to discuss.
Copyright Material
Students must refrain from uploading to any course shell, discussion board, or website used by the course instructor or other course forum, material that is not the student’s original work, unless the students first comply with all applicable copyright laws; faculty members reserve the right to delete materials on the grounds of suspected copyright infringement.

Discussion Board
Please abide by the following guidelines when using the discussion boards. Questions about the modules, examples, exercises, and other general course-related questions should be posted to the appropriate 'general' discussion board (which will be broken down by module or topic). Questions regarding concepts or clarification about quiz questions may be posted to discussion boards; however the exact solutions to quiz questions will not be provided until after the quiz deadline has passed. No discussion will be allowed during the administration of the final exam. All content related questions should be addressed prior to the time that the final exam is posted. Sensitive questions (e.g., about grading or other personal issues) that you do not feel comfortable posting to the discussion boards can be sent to the course e-mail account and one of the instructors will reply back at their earliest convenience.

Title IX
Title IX is a federal law that provides that no person be excluded on the basis of sex from participation in, be denied benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity. Both Title IX and university policy make clear that sexual violence and harassment based on sex is prohibited. An individual who believes they have been subjected to sexual violence or harassed on the basis of sex can seek support, including counseling and academic support, from the university. If you or someone you know has been harassed on the basis of sex or sexually assaulted, you can find information and resources at https://sexualviolenceprevention.asu.edu/faqs.
As a mandated reporter, your instructor is obligated to report any information they become aware of regarding alleged acts of sexual discrimination, including sexual violence and dating violence. ASU Counseling Services, https://eoss.asu.edu/counseling, is available if you wish to discuss any concerns confidentially and privately.
