is the Director of Water Strategy for Freeport McMoRan. Sandy has been in water planning and policy development in Arizona for over 20 years. Before joining Freeport McMoRan this year, she was the Director of the Arizona Department of Water Resources and the Chair of the Arizona Water Banking Authority, beginning her employment as an intern in 1992. Sandy has also served as the Assistant Director of the Water Management Division at ADWR, overseeing the Assured and Adequate Water Supply Program, Recharge and Recovery Program, long-range planning and data analysis section, the Statewide Well Program, and water rights and conservation requirements within the Active Management Areas of the State. She has also served as a technical administrator for the Arizona Water Banking Authority. Sandy holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resources in Agriculture from Arizona State University.Â
