A Grade 4 certified water treatment and distribution operator, Blake has spent over a decade serving rural and underserved communities across Arizona. He founded MWM with a vision to professionalize operations for small and struggling water systems, growing the company from a single system to the largest contract O&M provider in Northeastern Arizona in just five years. He is widely known specifically for his work supporting troubled micro-systems, bringing them back into regulatory compliance, rebuilding operational discipline, and helping them secure the capital funding needed to turn the corner and invest in long-term sustainability.
In 2025, MWM was strategically aquired by Ziptility, Blake now leads strategic operations at Ziptility while continuing to serve as President of MWM. Ziptility is a "field-first" utility management software platform focused on modernizing how small and rural utilities operate. Ziptility has developed an integrated software platform specifically for small water and wastewater utilities. It combines asset management, work order tracking, compliance documentation, and operational visibility into one streamlined GIS system. Ziptility is in the early stages of testing a nationwide contract operations subsidiary model that replicates MWM’s proven approach, pairing high quality local operators with standardized systems, data tools, and strategic support to strengthen small utilities across the country.
