APPLICATION and INTERVIEW RESOURCES
RESIDENCY NETWORKING
Link to upcoming virtual open houses
In general, these are open to students in all years, but geared towards those who are close to applying to residency (OMS3-4). Most programs provide a detailed overview of their programs, with more information than is available on their website, and a meet and greet with the program directors and residents. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about residencies before interview season in a more casual, informative format.
Most radiology residencies are on twitter. This helps you gain insight to the local area, how residents spend their time in and outside of training, and get to know program leaders. It can provide many networking opportunities. Always remember to be professional.
YOUTUBE
Almost every residency has an overview video. This can help you learn more information about programs prior to application season. The easiest way to find these videos is by searching "Radiology Residency" + residency name on youtube.
There is a ton of radiology (and general) application advice on youtube. These videos are helpful with everything on deciding where to apply, how to complete your ERAS, how to approach interviews, and how to create your rank list.
