This 12-part lab demonstration series was edited via multi-camera in Premiere; all color grading done in Resolve
While the three cameras are not a perfect match, the final graded edit came out fairly well balanced and rich. The grading was more or less driven by the purple undertones in the gloves and the greens and yellows in the reptile skin. The specimen tray in the overhead skewed a bit orange and that shift was used to help inform the rest of the teal/orange color palette.
Recorded with two Panasonic DVX200 camcorders (medium shot & close-up), plus the original Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera for the overhead. Edited using multi-cam in Premiere. Round tripped to and from Resolve via XML for color grading. Pro tip: "Remote Grading" in Resolve enables adjustments made to one shot are automatically propagated to any other shots in the edit that use different parts of the same clip get the same grade applied. Huge time saver!

6 simple steps to handshake between Resolve & Premiere
1. From Premiere, export to XML (flatten timeline if multi-cam edit)
2. Import XML as a Timeline into Resolve
3. Color grade and correct as needed
4. Render graded clips to Premiere XML using near lossless CODEC such as Apple Pro Res
5. Import XML data (includes new rendered footage) back into Premiere
6. Copy & paste new graded clips onto new track in original Premiere edit timeline
