A little bit about Shenise: My passion for creating positive change in the workplace and within my community has inspired me to further my education. I believe MALM will help me to become a recognized leader by broadening my knowledge and experience. I am very family oriented, enjoy art, food, landmarks, and have a dog named MJ.

What is your leadership/management style? As a leader, I believe in listening, choosing fair outcomes, and bringing positive energy to the table.
What do you think you need to improve on? I’d like to improve my planning skills. In most cases I am able to make a firm plan but sometimes lean only on that plan to work. I should improve on making additional plans as backup and not rely on just one, especially if I work in retail and things are constantly changing.
Aspirations and goals: While reaching my way towards becoming a c-level executive for an international retailer, I would like to become a mentor to the youth in my community and possibly around the globe.
