A little bit about Kevin: Hello! My name is Kevin Long. I graduated Auburn University with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering and now serve as an officer in the Air Force. Since college, I've lived in Texas, Arizona, South Korea, and now my wife and I call Arizona home. I fly a plane half of the workweek and fly a desk the other half.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, trying new foods/drinks, traveling with my wife, and attempting to stay in shape. I also spend a good chunk of time volunteering as a leadership consultant for a national college student organization that focuses on professional development and community service. I am hoping to use the skills learned from attaining the MALM to start a global leadership and management consulting business focused on making people the best versions of themselves.

What is your leadership/management style? I believe that the best leaders create more leaders out of the people around them. How I work to accomplish that is by empowering those around me to operate a step outside of their comfort zone. I try to provide constructive feedback to my coworkers and expect them to do the same to me.
What do you think you need to improve on? My business skills - How to start and operate a successful business.
Aspirations and goals: Freedom. I want to be able to do what I want, when I want, with who I want, as much as I want. Not necessarily a measureable goal, but I want to positively influence as many people as I can to be the best versions of themselves.
