A little bit about Elena: I graduated with my B.S. in International Business and Marketing May of 2018. I then immediately started a job with a Commercial Property Management group specializing in medical/dental offices. I decided that I need more of a challenge so I began pursuing my Masters and Real Estate license at the same time. I became a licensed Real Estate Salesperson of April 2019. In my little downtime I like to go on hikes with my Fiance and two German Shepherds.

Start of Program: Spring 2019

What is your leadership/management style? My leadership style is open communication. I appreciate when a boss or co-worker is able to speak openly about an issue they are having with another co-worker or decision made. I think it fosters a sense of support and eliminates all of the negativity or resentment.

What do you think you need to improve on? I need to improve on slowing down and enjoying the processes more. I tend to keep pushing and pushing myself so that I can keep moving forward in my career but I never really stopped to enjoy graduating with my Bachelors or finishing my Real Estate License. I just keep looking forward to the next thing on my to-do list.

Aspiration and goals: As for long term career goals right now I am still trying to figure those out. For the short term I am hoping to be promoted to a Property Director and maintain my own portfolio of properties within the next 6 months to a year.
