2022–23 Learning Cohort

On behalf of the entire Next Education Workforce initiative team at Arizona State University’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, we welcome you to our 2022–23 Learning Cohort! 

We know the default one-teacher, one-classroom model of schooling is unsustainable for most educators. As a result, our education system does not reliably deliver learning outcomes and experiences for nearly enough people. With the disruptions caused by COVID, we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity — and obligation — to fundamentally redesign how we staff schools.  

We look forward to collaborating with you this year to explore team-based staffing models and how they can make schools work better for both learners and educators in your local context. We are grateful to be doing this work alongside you and thank you for being here.
