I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2025 from Arizona State University (ASU) and Barrett, The Honors College, with three degrees: Earth and Space Exploration (Astrophysics) (BS), Chemistry (BS), and French (BA).
I am now continuing my studies at ASU as a PhD student in Astrophysics, working on two main projects. The first is with Dr. Patrick Young, using stellar composition to predict the probability of an Earth-like exoplanet. The second, with Dr. Darryl Reano, aims to study the impacts of inquiry-based learning on different student demographics, including juveniles in a detention center and students in public high schools in the valley.
I have been heavily involved in science communication for a huge part of my life– even more so in recent years. I have worked as a Science Communicator at the Arizona Science Center since 2022, performing demonstrations and facilitating exhibits and activities for hundreds to thousands of guests daily. I also work for NASA's Mission to Psyche, where I design exhibits and events and manage our archive of over 500 art pieces inspired by the mission. As of 2025, I am also a co-investigator for the School of Earth and Space Exploration (SESE)'s Prison Education Program, where I work collaboratively to develop and teach earth and space science curricula at a juvenile detention facility. Additionally, I co-founded the Open House Club at SESE to manage and facilitate the school's annual Open House event, where various groups across share their science with the public.
