I am a passionate, detail-oriented biomedical engineering student in the School of Biological & Health Systems Engineering (SBHSE) at Arizona State University. I have a keen interest in innovating novel medical technologies to positively impact patient care and enhance current medical systems. Throughout my undergraduate career, I have actively worked on exploring the field of biomedical engineering as a Grand Challenges Scholar!
My passion for biomedical engineering stems from my curiosity to decipher complex physiological systems and my desire to create patient-centered healthcare technologies. Specifically, my interests lie in the fields of regenerative medicine, cardiology, electrophysiology, and orthopedic medicine.
As a biomedical engineer, I am enthusiastic to apply my problem-solving mindset to understand complex biological systems and their deficiencies to naturally restore functional and structural integrity from acute, progressive diseases. Therefore, I curated my experiences with the Grand Challenges Scholars Program to explore the multidisciplinary nature of engineering through involvement in academic research, entrepreneurship, service, and global health projects.
My Portfolio elaborates on the experiences I completed for the competencies of the Grand Challenges Scholars Program (GCSP).
