Gray School Campus Construction Updates

April 27, 2022

On Monday, May 2nd, there will be construction activities occurring in our space. You are still welcome to attend and we will open our office area to students. Just be aware that the noise level will be increased. JumpStart Meetings and all other appointments will continue at their regularly scheduled times. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to staff.

April 14, 2022:

ACOA will continue to be open during construction at the Gray School campus. There may be certain days when we must close to the public due to construction activities, but on most days we will still be open and operational. Staff will communicate with students and parents, as needed, regarding daily closures.

PRESS RELEASE - April 13, 2022

The Gray School campus, including Astoria School District Office (785 Alameda Avenue) will be closed for both school use and public use beginning Monday, May 2, 2022. The exterior windows are being replaced as part of the Astoria School District facility bond. The project is expected to be completed in late August 2022.

Most District Office staff will be working remotely during the building closure and are available by phone, email, and in-person meeting by appointment. District office staff contact information is listed on the district website and linked here: http://www.astoria.k12.or.us/district_office

Astoria School District Board Meetings will be held virtually during this time and can be accessed via google meets. Board meeting agendas are posted on the district website and linked here: http://www.astoria.k12.or.us/school_board/meeting_agendas
