Defining a character's details can be tricky, especially depending on the story you want them to be a part of! Let's try to explore that. To combat that blank page, draw inspiration from a situation you know. Use the story's context to define their education, lifestyle based on their geographic location, research the time period they live in, etc.

Their identity and the historical context are intertwined. To fully understand either, we must explore how they influence each other. It’s like creating a drawing: we start with the big picture—pose, perspective, setting, overall composition—and then add the finer details like shading.
