Help With My Student's Seesaw Learning at Home
Seesaw is a platform for student engagement. Teachers can empower students to create, reflect, share, and collaborate. Students “show what they know” using photos, videos, drawings, text, PDFs, and links. It’s simple to get student work in one place and share with families, and nothing is shared without teacher approval. SeeSaw is a very popular communication tool in our 4K-5th grade classrooms.

Seesaw Troubleshooting Issues:
These are the top errors happening at home when students are trying to sign in with their home learning code.
You are scanning the QR code from the Family app instead of the Class app.
Class App is not updated
12 letter text code invalid, i.e., typing in the wrong code
Here’s a great video to share showing the correct process for using the Home Learning Code.
PRO Tip- If you have multiple children, you do have to log out and log back in using the Home Codes for each one. A way around that is to use multiple browser windows. Open Chrome and have a student log into Seesaw. Open Firefox and have another student log in and finally you can open an Edge browser window and log the 3rd student in.
