Dr. Anirban Sen

Brief Bio

I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Ashoka University. My primary research interests are in Computational Social Science (with a focus on computational media analysis). This area is inter-disciplinary and I use techniques from Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval, Network Science, and Human Computer Interaction for my work. I am also a PhD coordinator in the CS Department at Ashoka.

I received my PhD in Computer Science from IIT Delhi in 2021. I was a postdoc at Microsoft Research India as a member of the Technology for Empowerment (TEM) team. [CV]
