I. Prohibited by local, state, or federal law.
II. Unsafe, harmful, dangerous, or poses an immediate threat to the well-being of others. (Such use may violate the terms of use of the manufacturer.)

IV. In violation of another’s intellectual property rights. For example, the Cricut will not be used to reproduce material that is subject to copyright, patent, or trademark protection.
The Library reserves the right to refuse any Cricut request.
Supervision of the use of the Cricut by Library staff does not constitute knowledge, or acknowledgement, of any unapparent final use of the Cricut product, and the Library specifically disclaims any knowledge thereof.
Any individual using the Library’s Cricut agrees to assume all responsibility for, and shall hold the Library harmless in, all matters related to the individual’s use of the Cricut, including but not limited to violations of patent, trademark and/or copyright law.
PROCEDURE
Students must use Cricut Design Space for their creations. A student may make their own account with parent permission that does not use their school email address or they may use a generic account from the librarian.
Cricut tools (10” x 10” heat press and mat, vinyl mat for the machine, weeding tools, transfer tape, etc.) are provided.
All other Cricut items (vinyl, heat transfer vinyl, cardstock, etc) need to be provided by the user.
Sign up on the library website with the date, time, and description of the project.
Please see the Librarian for help loading Cricut or using materials if you need assistance or have not done it before.
The librarian is also available for design assistance and troubleshooting (not creation).
