In 2017, she had the honor and pleasure of being a lead presenter at the 2017 4T (Teachers Teaching Teachers about Technology) Virtual Conference sponsored by the School of Education at the University of Michigan in Ann, Arbor.

Writing in Mathematics: Beyond Process to Making Connections
DESCRIPTION:
Writing in math class? Of course! There is no doubt that writing in math class helps students; however, only writing about process (i.e., How did you get the answer or Explain your steps.) often alienates high achieving students and struggling students. During the presentation, we will explore opportunities that allow all levels of students to benefit from writing about their mathematical knowledge.
