DESCRIPTION:

Ewan McIntosh leads a design process that takes a curious look at the challenges participants face and shapes hands-on recommendations, published in a research-informed white paper, that any educator can put into practice. The purpose? To start a campaign that takes participants and their schools far beyond where they are today, thanks to and not because of a crisis.

Participants will be pre-assigned to a problem statement inspired by the challenges they shared prior to the event.

Ewan will share key provocations that might give ideas on what the future could look like in resolving these challenges, or taking advantage of the opportunities visible when we present these problems’ silver linings. This will include examples from others who’ve been through a similar process, and tools in the design session which help unpack the potential solutions, spotting new hurdles that might be in their way, and driving towards a new solution.
