I. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advising on the structuring and implementation of a broad range of fintech solutions, and conducting related legal research. This ensures that solutions are implemented legally in an open challenging regulatory environment.

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of contracts, including customer-facing terms, partnership agreements, marketing and technology agreements, supply agreements, and intellectual property licensing agreements.

  • Providing day-to-day legal support on operational matters, including advising on issues relating to intellectual property, consumer protection, data privacy, IT security, payments, and counterparty disputes.

Purpose: The role holder being a critical senior member of the leadership team, heading digital business channels and marketing for the country which would include digital partnerships, alliances and online sales.

Context: This position will be responsible for spearheading alternate channels and digital strategy with focused impetus in driving business volumes through campaigns, Direct to Customer Sales & Online Sales. Managing front-end & back-end operation challenges for the channel with a focused approach on driving efficiency & optimum utilization of data points. I. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and operationalize the embedded and alternate sales channel for TrueMoney Vietnam including identification of target audience, marketing strategies, establishing the support model and deploying the on-boarding process 

  • Conceptualize and implement the alternate channel, marketing and digital strategy of TrueMoney Vietnam.

  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the strategy and take corrective action, as appropriate

  • In charge of the entire technology functions of the TrueMoney Vietnam

  • Proactively and closely work with businesses to design, develop and operate innovative financial products and services.

  • Leads the technical teams and collaborates with other departments in business, marketing, and finance in order to roll out new systems and implement the ongoing process improvements of the current systems;

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development methodologies;

  • Applies industry best practices, cutting-edge technologies and software engineering principles to solve business problems while also achieving long-term scalability and reduced operational costs within the organization;

  • Provide technical guidance and direction, as well as hands-on resource and project management, for all site/software development activities;

  • Take charge of the department's staffing and resources, mentoring and maintaining engineering department;

  • Drive a strong engineering culture based on transparency, collaboration and teamwork.

II. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Basic requirements:

  • Language: Proficient in English both spoken and written.

2. Qualifications:

  • Education qualification: Degree in Computer Science, Software Development or any other relevant field/ Certificate is plus.

  • Experience:

      • Have working experience with Java technologies

      • Have experience in software engineering, site/software development and experience working with numerous software-industry business models inclusive of subscription, e-commerce, support, and fulfillment

      • Have experience in the management of a frontend & backend team through cross-functional projects and recording project progress

      • Have experience in agile development process and architectural knowledge of web-based and backend technologies.

      • Have experience in R&D

    • Technology/Software Skills

      • Core Java 8,9, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, NetflixOSS

      • MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB, ELK)

      • Messaging or streaming middleware such as RabbitMQ or Kafka

      • Cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP

      • Continuous Integration and Delivery - Experience with distributed architectures, SOA, microservices, and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).

      • Experience with Agile and Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.

      • Familiarity with containers and their technologies such as Docker.

      • Familiarity with container orchestration technologies such as Mesos, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.

      • Experience with high availability, high-scale, and performance systems.

    • Attitude: Be honest, proactive, enthusiastic at work, and able to work under pressure..

      • Yearly salary increment and performance bonus based on OKRs mid-year and year-end assessment.
