Acceptable Use of Technology AGreements

ASB is committed to providing “a challenging American and international education that inspires students to pursue their passions, achieve their goals and become responsible global citizens”. 

Part of raising responsible global citizens is to have ASB students use technology ethically and responsibly, therefore, we have developed the "Responsible Use of Technology" guidelines. 

These guidelines will be taught to students through various age-appropriate activities, and will be consistently reinforced in the classroom while students use their technology devices for educational purposes. We will also ask students from Grades 6 to 12 to sign the agreement to help them understand that they are held accountable for the appropriate use of technological devices in school. 

We believe that raising responsible and ethical students requires effective collaboration between the school and home. Therefore, we highly recommend having ongoing conversations about responsible and ethical technology use with your child at home. This will help our children understand the importance of using technology responsibly and the consequences of misuse.
